Voicemail is included on every Flex Mobile plan. It needs setting up once, from your own phone, before anyone can leave you a message.
Set it up
- Open your phone app and press and hold the 1 key, or tap Voicemail.
- Follow the recorded prompts to create a voicemail password of 4 to 7 digits.
- Record your name when asked.
- Record a greeting, or choose the default one.
- Save when prompted. Your voicemail is now active and callers can leave messages.
Choose a password you'll remember
Avoid your birthday, the last four digits of your number, or four repeated digits. Some systems reject those, and they're the first thing anyone would guess.
Listening to messages
Press and hold 1 in your phone app. On iPhones with visual voicemail, messages appear as a list you can tap in any order.
If voicemail doesn't answer
Make sure your line is fully active first. A number transfer that hasn't completed, or a line that has just been activated, can take a while before voicemail works. Restart your phone and try again.
If you can't reach voicemail
If your line was activated or transferred recently, give it a little time and restart your phone before trying again. If voicemail still doesn't answer, contact Flex Mobile support.
