You can block unwanted callers on the phone itself. Blocking happens on your device, so it works straight away and doesn't need anything from Flex Mobile.
On iPhone
- Open the Phone app and tap Recents.
- Tap the information icon next to the number you want to block.
- Scroll down and tap Block this Caller, then confirm.
- The number can no longer reach you by call, message or FaceTime.
To block a number you haven't been called by, add it as a contact first, then block the contact.
On Android
- Open the Phone app and go to your recent calls.
- Press and hold the number, or tap it and open the menu.
- Select Block, or Block and report spam.
- Confirm. The number can no longer reach you.
Blocking text messages
Open the conversation, open the contact or number details at the top, and choose to block. On most phones blocking a number blocks both calls and texts at once.
Seeing what you've blocked
On iPhone, go to Settings, then Apps, then Phone, then Blocked Contacts. On Android, open the Phone app menu, then Settings, then Blocked numbers. You can remove anything from these lists.
If the calls keep coming from new numbers
Blocking one at a time won't keep up with a spam operation that changes number constantly. Use your phone's silence unknown callers setting instead.
