Flex Mobile is prepaid, which works differently from the postpaid contract you may be used to. Here's what that means day to day.
You pay before you use the service
Instead of using a month of service and getting a bill for it afterward, you buy a block of service up front. Flex Mobile sells that block as a 3 month or a 6 month term.
There's no credit check and no contract
Prepaid service doesn't extend you credit, so there's nothing to check. There's also no contract to sign, no minimum term beyond the one you bought, and no early termination fee if you leave.
Your price is your price
Because you pay in advance, there are no overage charges. If you use all the data on Flex Standard, you don't get billed extra. Your speed changes instead.
Taxes are already included
Unlike most carriers, Flex Mobile includes taxes in the plan price, so the amount you see when you order is the amount you pay.
What happens at the end of your term
Your introductory rate applies for the length of the term you bought. After that the standard rate applies. See the article on what happens when your introductory rate ends.
