Signing up takes a few minutes and happens entirely online. This page covers choosing a plan, checking out, and what arrives afterward.
Step 1: choose your plan
Current prices for every plan and term are on the Flex Mobile store at https://portal.getflexmobile.com/storefront. That page is always up to date, so check there rather than anywhere else.
Step 2: choose a 3 month or 6 month term
Flex Mobile is prepaid, so you pay for a block of service up front instead of getting a bill each month. You choose either a 3 month or a 6 month term, and the 6 month term has a lower introductory rate.
The 6 month term costs less per month than the 3 month term on every plan. The rate you see when you order is an introductory rate that runs for the length of your term, and the standard rate applies afterward.
What you will and will not be charged
Taxes are included in the plan price, so the amount you see is the amount you pay. There's no activation fee, no fee to bring your own device, and no early termination fee.
This article follows the Flex Mobile plan selector. If you see different terms or prices elsewhere on the Flex Mobile store, the plan selector is the one to trust.
Step 3: check out
- Go to portal.getflexmobile.com/storefront.
- Select Choose Plan under the plan you want.
- Enter your name and email address.
- Add a credit or debit card.
- If you're keeping your current phone number, enter your current carrier's account number and your transfer PIN. You can find both by following the guide linked below.
- Complete the order. You'll see an order confirmation, and a confirmation email arrives shortly after.
Step 4: get connected
An email with your eSIM QR code and activation steps arrives right after checkout. There's no card to wait for, so you can be connected within minutes.
The next step is the eSIM activation guide for your phone.
If checkout won't complete
A declined card is usually a billing address that doesn't match what your bank has on file. Check that first, then try again. If it still won't go through, email support@getflexmobile.zendesk.com with the message you're seeing.
