If another carrier is asking for your Flex Mobile account number and transfer PIN, here's how to get them.
Where to find them
- Go to portal.getflexmobile.com and sign in.
- Open the Subscriptions tab.
- Select the line you want to move to another carrier.
- Scroll to the details at the bottom of the page. Port-out account number and Port-out pin are both listed there.
- Copy both down exactly as shown, and give them to your new carrier.
What each one is
Your account number identifies your Flex Mobile account and isn't your phone number. Your transfer PIN is a short code that proves you're the account holder, and it's what stops somebody else moving your number without permission.
Ask support
Email support@getflexmobile.zendesk.com, or start a chat from your account, and ask for your account number and transfer PIN for a number transfer. Have your account email and phone number ready so they can verify you.
Then give both to your new carrier
Your new carrier submits the transfer request. Keep your Flex Mobile service active until they confirm the number has moved.
If the PIN stops working
Some transfer PINs expire after a few days. If your new carrier says yours is invalid, request a fresh one and give them the new code.
If the details are rejected
Check them against the subscription page once more. If your new carrier still won't accept them, contact Flex Mobile support and keep your service active while it's sorted.
