Once an eSIM has been installed and activated, its QR code can't be used again. If you need the eSIM on a new phone, or you deleted it, you'll need a new one.
Moving to a new iPhone? Try a direct transfer first
A direct transfer between two iPhones is free. Keep both phones on, unlocked and connected to Wi-Fi. On the new phone, go to the eSIM settings and choose to transfer from a nearby iPhone, then follow the prompts on both phones. See How to transfer your eSIM to a new iPhone for the full steps.
Order a new eSIM
If a direct transfer isn't possible, you can order a new eSIM yourself. A replacement eSIM costs $25, and the price is shown before you confirm.
- Sign in at portal.getflexmobile.com.
- Open the Subscriptions tab and select your line.
- Under Order new SIM card, select Order and confirm.
- Your new QR code is sent by email and also appears on the same page under Show QR code.
- Connect your phone to Wi-Fi, scan the QR code once, then restart your phone.
Your number, plan and any unused data top-up stay the same. Make sure your new phone supports eSIM before you order.
Only block your SIM if your phone is lost or stolen
Blocking the SIM stops the line. If you block it by mistake, you'll need a new eSIM to get the line working again.
